Take2Minutes implements a structured program based on positive psychology, featuring activities like gratitude journaling and the
Three Good Things exercise to bolster mental well-being. The program's effectiveness is supported by concrete data from focus groups.
We have facilitated two different focus groups to understand the effectiveness of the activities offered to a Take 2 Minutes user. The two focus groups were held over a year apart from each other and followed the same set of instructions for participants. These instructions
being: (1) complete an mDES questionnaire on day one, (2) begin a morning gratitude practice for at least 20 days, (3) begin an evening 3 Good
Things activity for 15 days, (4) around day 35, take another mDES questionnaire.
In the March 2022 Focus Group, out of 11 participants who completed the assignment, their mDES score improved by an impressive 191%, with 91% reporting increased positivity.
Similarly, in the October 2023 Focus Group, among 17 participants who completed the assignment, their mDES score improved by 141%, with 94% experiencing heightened positivity.
These statistics underscore the tangible benefits of the Take2Minutes approach in fostering mental well-being.
